Demons

She sleeps under a blanket of sadness,
She sleeps there all alone.
She can’t quite take the silence,
The quiet that her sorrow brings.
He sits under a cloud of anger,
Boiling to the core.
Nothing seems to help at all,
It will just keep gnawing at his soul.
They share a common anguish,
A similar demon squirms.
Yet a simple solution awaits them.
It’s just hidden far too deep.
He pulls away her blanket,
She pushes away his cloud.
They chase away the silence,
And together burnt the demons down.
